Japanese Bike SOLD

This is a Japanese bike of unknown heritage. It may be a Soma (though the ones I've seen have more traditional long point lugs). The other Somas I've seen use the same silly, Schwinn sized stem quill as this. That is- 21.1mm or 13/16 of an inch. The standard is 22.2mm or 7/8 of an inch. Nick Jackson gave us the frame when he moved out to Baltimore. I happened to have the Nitto Bars in a Schwinn sized stem already, so that was a natural choice. The wheels and brakes are used, but rehabbed. The crank is a new Campy Mirage, with a single 44 tooth ring. With some fenders this baby would make a good winter bike
